Geetai Central Library

The central library of K.K. Wagh Arts, Commerce, Science and Computer Science College, Kakasahebnagar,Niphad, Nashik was established in 2004–05. Geetai Central Library's built-up area is 108 sq. m. Since then, the library has made consistent progress in terms of the collection of books, periodicals, OPAC services, and infrastructure provided. 

The books in the library are barcoded, and & E-Library facility is provided with 5 computer & 100 Mbps broadband connectivity in progress. 

 PURPOSE

The purpose of a library is to freely disseminate knowledge. Our library is therefore operated on a need-based approach rather than the usual rules-based treatment given to students. We allow open access to the collection and encourage students to browse through the stacks.

OBJECTIVES

1) Enrich Collection

2) Optimum utilization of existing resources

3) Enhancing reading habits in students and staff. 

ABOUT LIBRARY INCHARGE

Mr. Dada V.Pagar

He obtained his PG (M.A.) from K.K. Wagh Pimplus Ramache, Niphad, Nashik. In 2004 he has completed B.Lib. & Inf. Science from H.P.T & R.Y.K.College,Nashik.He joined (2005) the K.K.Wagh Arts, Commerce, Science ,Computer Science College,Kakasahebnagar, Tal.Niphad Dist.Nashik was established in the year 2003-04.It is renamed as 'Geetai Central Library' in 2014 as a Library clerk. In Dec.2014 he got transferred to K.K.Wagh Sr. College Kakasahebnagar,Niphad as a Jr.Clerk Library.
