About Department-

Department of Commerce has been establishedfrom theAcademic  year 2014-15.The Dept. has been providing Commerce Education up to under graduation level with Banking and Finance as a special subject at T. Y. B .Com. In addition to special subject, the department provides knowledge of Commerce related subjects as Accountancy, Marketing, Business Laws, Business Management, Business Communication, Auditing and Taxation, Company law etc. The Department is committed to provide value embedded quality higher education in the field of Commerce, Management and Accountancy at affordable cost for the poor and downtrodden community of society, to meet the changing socio-economic needs with human values & social responsibility. The ultimate aim is to achieve excellence by providing quality based and skill-oriented education for the students from rural area, which will help to transform the life of under privileged, rural and majority of girls students.

The department is having well qualified and experienced teaching staff with good academic record. The department has good infrastructure with well-equipped E-Commerce lab and good number of text and reference books in the college library. During recent years the department has successfully organized various student cantered curricular and co-curricular activities like Industrial visit, Guest lecture of experts, Value Education Course,Internship and Induction Program etc. Teaching faculties of the department are actively involved in research activities in various research areas.

Goals & Objectives of the Department

The department is making sincere efforts to generate awareness in the local rural and poor masses and to provide value based modern education to the young generation, to turn as a major buildings block for nation building.

The vision of the college is to bringing rural students into the stream of education so that they can with stand the competitive world.The department has oriented all its academic and administrative programmes towards the fulfillment of the vision and mission of the college.
