Economics is the study of how to use scarce resources to produce essential goods and services and how to distribute them among different people of the society. The ultimate goal of economic science is to achieve excessive social welfare through inclusive and sustainable development.

We have affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University for under graduation. Most of the students of the department belong to rural area and are willing to learn subjects in Mother tongue Marathi as well as in English language. Department is providing education of Special and general level subject of Economics in Marathi as well as in English language. Well qualified and experienced faculties of the department has continuously engaged in guidance to the students and provides many opportunities through various cultural and co-curricular activities for student to developing overall personality of students.
