About Department:-

The department of science was established in the year 2004. It offers two UG programs, B.Sc. (plain with specialization in chemistry and microbiology) with an intake of 120 (Chemistry-90 and Microbiology-30), which is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The first batch of B.Sc. (Chemistry) passed out in the year 2006–07. It has spacious and well-equipped laboratories with supportive instruments & equipment for various studies. It has qualified and experienced faculty.

Throughout the year, the department has organized various activities like the Induction Programme, Fresher’s Party, Ozone Day, Subjectwise Expert Lecture Series, Health Awareness Programme, Poster Competition and PPT Presentation, Teachers Day, Science Day, Sketch Exhibition, and industrial visits to distinctive industrial places, i.e., Sula Winery, Vinsura Winery, Tryson Agri, Srujan biotech are organized for the purpose of students holistic development.
