About Department

The department of Computer Science was established in the year 2006, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune. It offers only one UG programs, Computer Science with the intake of 80, affiliated to university of Pune . The department has well-qualified staff and provides a friendly environment for the students. The department has 8 Lecturers and 1 lab Assistant. It has Computer laboratories, Electronics laboratories with latest computing equipment’s.

Department maintains a good academic result scenario. Students are actively taking participating in social works through NSS, SWO, Blood Donation camps, and Annual Gathering functions. Every year our department provides special guidance to students through Expert Talk series, paper presentation, eloquence completion schemes and short term Certificate Courses.

            Department has been offered a comprehensive study on a range of subjects related to Programming Languages. Department provides a Bachelor of Computer Science degree after completing three years course successfully. This degree provides a chance for students to explore their passions, ambitions, and goals. Students who complete this degree will be able to meet the challenges of modern life. It also enables them to become an independent thinker. Our alumni are able to think independently of the rigors of tradition and social prejudice. They can build good relations in society. Thus the department makes every effort for the overall development of the students.

• To prepare students for employment and advanced studies, and provide them with significant experiences in complex software development for real-world problems.
